Toothy

Believe it or not it's difficult to get a picture of a little kids teeth, but I wanted to show you Kayte's unique feature. Her top side tooth has come in before her front tooth and it really is funny too see!

At the park

We rode our bikes to the park with Mak's friend Noah. How could we not hqave fun?

water

Just to give you an idea of how much water we got, check out Mak's stick in and out of the water.
This is inside the basement. The cinder block is going up fast.

bath time

Mak was instructed to not put in too many bubbles. I hate to think of what it would have been like if we hadn't cautioned him!

a Little more progress

We had a lull in progress for a few reasons. One of which was the rain, a tornado hit several miles from here the other night, to us it was just a really heavy rain. It's been gone for a few days, but it's still really wet. Even so, the masons were able to be at work. So many cinderblocks!!

This shot is the west side of the house. Those are basement windows. You can see the mason work at the back of the house. If you look close you can see the water at the base...the other side of the house is much worse, but of course I forgot to take a picture of that.

Bikes

The kids and I have re-discovered the joy of cycling. The bike path that borders our future home is dirt (close up of Jack and sleeping Kayte), but about 3/4 of a mile away it's paved. The dirt path is beautiful and according to the boys adds some adventure. We can go one direction and stay on dirt or go the other and hit pavement. We've been alternating, depending on when it rained last. All of the paths used to be a railroad, and we even pass under an old railroad tressel on our journey.

I can't keep up with the three older ones due to the load I pull, so they are equipped with walkie talkies so I can tell them to wait up! :) I think the farthest we have gone is 7 miles (round trip).
