Last week Bubba and Nana came from California, and we had lots of fun. We went to a Children's museum where kids could learn about all sorts of things, like newscasting, Doctor's offices, Bus rides, and much more. Here T.J. was telling Bubba not to let the other kids upstairs because there was a pretend hospital nursery that had anatomically correct dolls. His faces tells it all.
Kayte outdid herself by cutting her first tooth and learning to roll all the way. Not to mention she smiled the whole time and slept in an unfamiliar bed so Bubba and Nana could have her room.
The weather also warmed up enough for us to take several walks, and we made a cool discovery. Our county has a paved bike path that ends a block before our home, but it continues as a dirt path for several more miles, and this lovely path is on the border of the property we just bought to build our new home on. We found that the path is not only really fun, someone in the past built a bridge over the ditch between it and our property. The path is over an old railroad track and Nana found an old railroad spike.
Below is Chatham. After an hour of me knocking on the door asking if he was ok, I finally went in, and this is what I saw! He loves his bath!
